Ward Christmas Party

Dave and I are going to have a meeting with our committee tonight to get the final plans set out for our ward Christmas party at 7 pm. We are wanting to do something a little more simple than the typical ward party. I would like some of your ideas though. What was one of your favorite ward Christmas parties? What did you like about it?

We could use all of the suggestions we could get!

I'm not sure I have a lot of input on this. I vaugely remember a christmas program our ward put on. They had booths set up that would have things you might find in Bethlehem. I think they had little wooden games and stuff at some of the booths and some small food thing or something. They they had a little singing program or something. But, I imagine it was a lot of work that went into it. Most of the Christmas parties I have been to they have had some pot luck and Santa come and some singing (different people in the ward were asked to sing).

Divide everyone up into twelve sections and sing the twelve days of Christmas with each section singing one of the days! I remember doing this in our ward when I was young and I'm sure everyone probably thought it was annoying, but I liked it!
