On the East Coast

Chris will shortly post some pictures. But I just get to type.

This is our last day in New Jersey.

This has been a great visit. Not only is the place great, but the kids and family are wonderful. I even like Chester the Dog.

We went to DC and had a wonderful time visiting the Capitol, the Library of Congress, and the Washington Monument. Not the least of the visit was to Dave and Tana's place. I about died walking all over, but I had a very pregnant partner with me that suffered some, too. She is a great girl.

We enjoyed some great Chinese food, then all went back to New Jersey. Dave and Tana came, too. The trip back was fun since Dave and I and Brent were together and had a great time talking.

The next day we went to see the Liberty Bell, and the hall where the constitution was written. This is right in downtown Philly. What an experience! Then we topped the day off by gorging ourselves at Philly Cheesecake. So good. Dave and Brent had the biggest burrito I have ever seen. There was more food that could be downed and then we all had cheesecake. Wow!

Dave and Tana went home Sunday evening. Later, brent took us down into Camden and showed us where he works. The city itself is really a tough place. Rudger's Univeristy is near also.

Yesterday we all went to Cape May on the South Shore. What a great place. The weather was perfect, the beach was clean and really fun and relaxing. What a wonderful time! I walked in the Atlantic Ocean!

Shortly, Chris and I are going to get a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, then head back to the real world for us. This is great real world to be in, too. I am so thankful to the Pughs for having us out and giving us a great time.

It's been eerily quiet around here and it will be good to get the parentals back in town! But it sounds like it was a screamin' good time for everyone. Makes me wish I was out there... -Jess
