I don't know how many minutes our family can handle doing in exercise. So far everyone but Gilly and Lance has committed to participating in our goal. Also, are Dad and Ammon doing it with you Mom? Anyway, I would like each family to come up with a number of minutes or hours they think their family can work towards and then post it on here. I will add up all the minutes and then we can start for reals. I know some of us have already started so if you are, just keep track of your time and then when we have one big number to work towards we can let everyone know.

What do you think I should do? I don't think my time could count with dance and that is my exercise for the day when I dance... which will be every day in less than two weeks. I would kick the time up like way to far....
So far I'm counting the number of times I'm walking up stairs and carrying boxes. Until we get the basement finished, I won't be able to get serious about a set exercise program. But believe me - I'm getting lots of exercise every night with the lifting, packing and carrying.
Katy, count what you will be doing each day. Mom, I'm not looking for a set exercise program, just a realistic goal you think you can do throughout the year.
Ok - does getting my body out of bed each morning count as a sit-up?
Mom, I say, if it gets you moving, count it! LOL!
12 hours a week is my goal. I can do 10 hours easily because of teaching, the other two hours will come with running practice.
Okay... regularly a week I will be doing 12 1/2 hours of dancing. Mom thinks that I should watch my eating habits but I don't know how that would work with this whole time thing.
