The link at the bottom wouldn't work for me so I don't know if it will for you guys. You might want to find your college and see where it fits. I put this on because there have been so many that have said the U of U is a much better school and that's why they were selected to go to the Pac 10 (or 12 or whatever). It's a lot easier to get into the U than at BYU -
Just sayin' ----

PROVO — Only 76 schools in the country offer a degree worth more than one from BYU, according to a report compiled by Bloomberg Businessweek.
The University of Utah ranks 281st.
A BYU graduate can expect an almost $800,000 return on his or her college investment over 30 years, the report said. The return for a graduate of the U. is estimated at $434,000.
A degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is the most valuable, with a return of $1.7 million. According to the report, a typical college graduate grosses $1.95 million over 30 years (or $65,000 a year), which is $670,000 more than a high school graduate.
Utah State University ranks 333rd in the list of 554 schools, and Weber State University is 449th. To see the list, visit www.businessweek.com/interactive_reports/bs_collegeROI_0621.html

Ha, Ha. No one has left a comment because everyone is scared to start a fight....
I loved BYU and I'm very proud to have gone there. I am very excited for Katy and hope she has a less stressful experience than I had but just as good a time.
Like I said, I loved BYU and will hope my kids will want to go there but I will be proud of them no matter where they go and will not push them to go there.
I have a friend (more aquaintance) that has such awful things to say about BYU and yet, she's never gone. It makes me sad.

Oops...sorry, it posted twice
No fight is necessary. All the kids may find that their schools are ranked higher than BYU and that's good.
I just get really sick of the U of U "fans" that have no facts to back up their boasts and trash BYU at every opportunity. This was more aimed at them than at any other university our kids go to - I, too, am proud of all of my kids and I don't care where they go as long as they study hard and do something useful with their lives.
Well, fight wasn't exactly the word I was looking for.
Also, I was just telling Mike a few nights ago that I never felt pushed to go anywhere by you guys. I knew where you went to school and I had a few places I wanted to go, BYU being first, but I never felt you or Dad pressuring me one way or the other. I'm grateful for that.
