Tonight is the final class of my second cake decorating course. There are four courses. I have taken the first two and then the next is fondant and gum paste, then two tiered cakes. It is fun. It has been a lot of work. The final cake I made for my first course wasn't that impressive. It tasted good (I'm not a cake person ironically enough) but I really didn't like the chocolate with the purple. The next day the cake was sitting on the counter and Eli got up on the counter and crushed the flowers. Oh well, I guess they were going to be eaten anyway, right?
Here are some pictures. There is a picture of my chocolate and purple cake and then some for this current class. Tonight I am taking all the flowers you see in the picture to my class along with a cake and we will finish the cake. I'll take a picture of that when it is done. So, here is a preview.

It all looks great! You and Mike should open up a bakery and sell your cute cakes and candies!
I am impressed. Those flowers are fabulous and I would have you make a cake for me if we lived closer. I can't wait to see the cake you create with all those flowers you made. I think the choc. and purple cake looks neat also.
Impressive!! Just make sure little hands don't crush those newly made flowers!
Keep up the good work!
I love it Adrianne! Good job. I agree with Chels- open up a shop. You guys are always making fun candy and food!

So do I have to come to Ohio to get to eat some of that cake? I'll bet they would taste even better than they look, and that would be very hard!
