Stuff

I am with Ammon tonight in the hospital. His is doing better, but it looks like he will be here for a while. I will know more tomorrow about the outcome of the procedure which was done late this afternoon. He had a tube put into something in his gut, but I do not think even the doctors are sure what they were going to find. Some thought it was an abscess, some thought it was the bladder, etc. So tomorrow will bring more information. This one is very complex.

I am very happy to tell you all that Gillian passed her State boards today for her cosmetology licence. Congratulations to her. I never doubted for a minute that she would. She is good at this craft, an will even get better now.

Last night I was eating in the cafeteria at the hospital and in walked Kevin and Shea Clark. Their daughter, Sadie, was just operated on. It was the same operation that Ammon had a few years back to make the spinal cord less inhibited near the brain stem. It is called (and I cannot spell it) an arnold keari decompression. It is about the most dangerous of many operations that the neurosurgeons do. One tiny mistake and the person is either quadriplegic or dead. They warn you before you sign the consent form, and it gives one thought. Sadie is doing alright, however, and the operation seems to have been successful.

I case you do not know Kevin and Shea, Kevin is my nephew, the second son of Jack Clark. He is the one that served a mission in Iowa when we lived in Nebraska. Sadie is just Amman's age. She also is in seventh grade. They live in Elk Ridge where Kevin serves in the Third Ward Bishopric.

I guess most of you know that Lindsey and Hans and family are now back in Germany. I wish I could hear from them, but I am not very accessable right now.

I am really looking forward to conference this weekend. It is such a privilege to be able to get it live and first hand. Hope you all enjoy it and take advantage of any opportunity you might have to get it.

Dad, I hope you get some rest this weekend. You have to be exhausted.

I'm very impressed by the fact that you posted something, finally!
I have to read your post just to keep updated because we don't get a lot of time to talk.
Miss you!!
