Michael Jordan....and Lawrence Taylor.
Pretty cool huh! Brent's group was on the 10th hole, which is apparently close to the 1st hole, and sure enough, there was Michael Jordan with his posse teeing off. Brent said Jordan has a great golf swing. I guess only one of the guys had a camera on him, so he took a photo from a distance. I probably would've waved and asked for an autograph. Jordan is probably used to idiots doing that.
Then, just after Michael Jordan left the 1st green, Lawrence Taylor came up. I wasn't as familiar with him, but I'm sure you guys all know who he is. After seeing his picture, I recognized him, but didn't know his credentials. Apparently he played with the NY Giants as a defensive lineman, is now retired, and in the hall of fame.
Some conference this was, huh! He got to stay at the Fairmont Turnberry resort.
He was proud to have hit the ball right on the green on this hole, and NOT into the water. Just the look of it scares me. I think Brent knows he is lucky to have been invited to this conference, and he may not get to go next year. So, I'm glad he had a good time this week.

LT was a great competitor on the field. A little crazy, in fact. He was at the FSU-UNC football game last night (I guess we played collegiate football at UNC) because they showed him a few times on ESPN roaming the sidelines.
Glad Brent got to hit on a good course. Who pays for the round in these settings? Corporate? Or Brent's pocket? I need a deal like that.
It sounds like a really cool conference. I'm glad he was invited! What an honor.
That course looks incredible. I am green with envy ;).
Wow - look at that golf course. It's fantastic! That is a beautiful photo of the place. It would be so intimidating even walking on that course.
