Last year I wrote about some success our ward had in convert baptisms. I was involved through my role as the Ward Mission Leader and really enjoyed the process and the spirit associated with it. Today was our Stake Priesthood meeting and the guy we baptized last year was presented before the group for sustaining vote so he could receive the Melchezidek Priesthood. I was honored to confirm this guy after he was baptized; I was honored to stand in the circle as he was ordained as an Elder tonight.
We actually had two brethren ordained tonight: the recent convert and another young guy who -- along with his wife -- haven't been real active. It's very nice to see some re-activations and baptisms stick with some people because we're all too familiar with the opposite. I noticed one of the comments in the post I wrote last year was from Jason who said, "Hope your EQ follows up well." I was glad to read that again today and realize that the folks did their jobs in our ward.

That is great to hear, Jess. A great blessing not just to their lives but to the lives of all involved.
That's cool. There is a woman that I had the opportunity to help come back to the church. She in turn got her husband and son baptized. I moved not too long after but I have always wondered and hoped that she would stay strong in the church and that her ward would embrace her.
This is a cool story about those people who are doing well. Even though I do not know those people at all, I know the feeling of seeing people do well. I am very happy to see Jess experience it first hand.
I want to say that I feel the same things about all of you in my family when I see you all being productive, happy, progressing, and serving others.
I love you all, the personal converts of Chris and Jim Clark.
