I just wanted to toot Adam's horn and say that yesterday he was made the World-wide Sales Operations Manager at Attask (as opposed to just the US Sales Operations Manager). He's been doing so well at his job and he's been there for more than 2 years and we're so very proud of him!
Way to go, Adam!
Also, on another note...if anyone would like to stay at our house during the wedding we would love to have you. We know our house is the size of a shoe box and not exactly desirable, but we're here and our home is open to any of you.

Yeah!!! Way to go, buddy! You are an up-and-coming star at your business. The best thing about this is that when the rest of the world is in the midst of job losses, you have been able to hang on and excel.
I think, after our conversation a few days ago, this means you might get to go to Austrailia after all? And other places in the world?

Thanks for the offer Amy. Alysa Bowen is already expecting me at her house I think. She'd kill me if I didn't stay there. Besides, I'll probably make her girls babysit my kids some of the time so I can get a much needed break from these crazy wackos! Thanks though. Maybe we can go get pedicures together though. That would be so awesome. No kids either!

Thanks guys. It was pretty funny how it all happened, actually. I was in our CEO's office and he was referring to the UK office and said, "Well, Mark just has to realize that Adam is World Wide Sales Operations..." I flinched and thought...that's strange.
Later I told my boss (the VP) what Scott had said. He said, "oh yeah, you just got promoted - congratulations."
Anyway, it was unexpected.
Thankfully it does come with a pay raise...and it is a huge blessing and amazing thing in such an economy - especially after we just missed our Q2 number.
Anyway, We'll see where it takes us. it's been fun so far - lots of work and stress, but fun.
