Any Thoughts?

Any thoughts about the statement below?

"You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

I think you posted this exact same quote on this exact same blog on March 10, 2009. It must be something you like! I wonder if you're referring to our current socialistic government? (that was dripping with sarcasm)

Sounds just like Mark Levin talking.

There is one thing that needs to be said. There is a system of the wealthy helping the poor. It is the only system that maintains the status of work and effort in developing wealth. It is the good old law of consecration. The haves help the poor, but only voluntarily, and it is coupled with an equally strong and helpful lead in to working and productivity.

True wealth in all of its dementions can only be multiplied by dividing it. But the elements mentioned about are the only way that it can happen.

I did post this same one???? Oh man, I'm getting old - the left hand can't remember what the right hand does. Scary!
I guess my mind was on this because in the Daily Universe this morning there was an article about Obama's new healtcare plan. It scares me so much!

Oh, socialism isn't too bad. At least we'll all be on the dole together.
