Well, Lance and Nancy and Baby John are on their way to Florida right now. Jen got up at 5am to take them to the airport for their 7am flight to Denver where they'll connect to another flight to Tampa. Jen got up because I didn't get home until after 11:30pm last night after taking the youth (including 4 young women!) to the top of Grandeur Peak along the Wasatch Front. It's not that tall a mountain, but it climbs from 5600' to 8300' in under 3 miles. It's fairly steep in sections and tests old man muscles fairly seriously. I'm feeling the hike today.

The girls loved having Lance, Nancy, and John here for awhile last night. The first thing Lauren said this morning was "baby non...baby non." She was sad they were gone!
Thanks for your continued service to those who come and go. I'm sad they left but glad for Lance that he will get to have a little break from the brain freeze he's had for two straight years.
I believe you said he got straight A's again - no A-. That's absolutely awesome! He works hard. Now I hope he is able to relax even with a new internship.
Good for them.
And you said you have made this hike 4 years straight in a row. Wow! Wish my knees were in better shape and I'd tag along.
Good luck Lance on your internship! Keep us posted!
I am always impressed when I hear how well Lance does in school, not becaues I don't believe he can do it but because I couldn't!
Good luck Lance. Have fun at home Nancy!
And, I hope you recover from the hike, Jess
