In the last 12 months (April 2008 - March 2009), we had 144 debit card transactions at Wal-Mart. In those 144 transactions, we spent $4,728. Holy Cow. This is perhaps the most obvious sign that I'm not a democrat, liberal, green, or a tree-hugger.
Second on the list? Target, with 30 transactions for $631.

walmart is a very green company, it gets attacked for its labor practices by the pro-union left. I say that because it is very innovative in self sustaining energy plans, it has a couple "green" stores that are devoted to innovation and doing so in a way that makes economic sense. its showing real leadership in that area.
