This morning was very sad in our household as we said goodbye to David & Tana. Ammon thought they had left last night and he cried and cried. But they came back and we repeated the goodbyes again - and we all cried and cried!
Our prayers go with you two. We hope you have a wonderful adventure while you are in Virginia. I worry about the long drive with each of you alone in your vehicles, but hopefully the Lord will protect you and you will arrive at your destination safely.
No matter how many times Jim and I go through goodbyes with our kids, it never becomes easier. We hope you all know how much we miss you and love you!

I was telling Jen last night that it's weird that they're moving now. I didn't see Dave and Tana much after they got married, but I always knew I could. Now that they're gone, I won't be able to see them much at all and that is sad.
Have a great time in the DC area and hope you have a great drive out there!
It is sad that we're all at that point where so many of us are now scattered. We need to start planning reunions 5 years out now so we can all plan on being there.
On a selfish note, I'm glad I'll get to see Dave and Tana. Too bad Brent's out of town though. Our kids haven't seen Dave since BEFORE his mission and never met Tana. So, hopefully, they'll make it here safe and sound. Drive carefully and be safe!
We loved having Dave and Tana stay at our house on Thursday night. It was fun to meet Tana and see Dave again. He's so tall. They made the trip in better time that we do when we drive to and from Utah. Hope the rest of their trip went well. You are all welcome to use our home as a bed and breakfast when traveling down I-80
Love, Judy F
