I want Kaitlin to post about her trip and I'm sure when she's had enough sleep to think she will do so. She got home from her choir trip to Seattle this morning at 1:00 a.m. and was back up at 6:00 a.m. to go to school. She looked pretty darn tired but said she had a wonderful time - and she got to see the ocean - ok, Puget Sound, but that counts as an ocean for her since she's never seen one.
Their small choir called "Singers" took first place and got a gold. A Cappella got second and got a silver. The small choir received an inviation - I believe from Fame - which is an open invitation to compete in New York City next year. That's the plan for them next year.
Kaitlin will have to tell us more about the trip. Hopefully she'll tell you about a choir from Concord, CA, too. Pretty cool story.
Glad you're back, kiddo. We missed you.
