Incredible Dust Bowl

For three days we had high winds blowing that caused the world around us to be full of choking dust. At some points you couldn't even see the mountains. It was warm - we got up to about 68 degrees, breaking records. Much of the snow melted. In fact, last night when I got home I noticed that there wasn't a single patch of snow on our front lawn. This morning when we woke up, we had about 8" of snow. The skies were clear and bright blue today.
I caught these two photos on our way home Monday night. The dust made a pretty spectacular sunset!

Let's see...dust bowl...economic downturn...I'm not liking the combo there. Seems eerily reminiscent of days gone by. -Jester

I keep saying that but no one thinks that we could go there ever again.... I beg to differ. I want to learn more about the economy and how it works and what not so that way I can understand it all. The dust pictures are cool but when you saw it in person, I honestly wanted to die. Why did it have to snow? It should have just rained, really hard, with thunder, oh and lightning! I like that idea!

That looks both cool and gross.
