We just got word Sis. Broughton passed away. We don't have many details other than her neighbor went over to check on her and found she'd passed. Her viewing will be this Sunday at the Logansport ward building from 1-5pm and funeral the following Monday. I'll let you know more details as they come. The world is a sad place today without her here. Heaven is certainly singing her praises and happy to have her home. She was always ready with a hug and kind word. She called members she hadn't seen for a while just to say she missed them. She never gave up on people ~ just ask Brent's brother Brian about that. She taught him way back in primary and continued to stand by and love him while he went through his trials. Most of you probably remember her as the "candy lady" because she never came to church without a stash to hand out to the kids. My kids only met her this last Thanksgiving, and I'm SO glad they did! She had a special hug for Adam when we saw her last, so Adam, give yourself a big hug today and know she loved you too!

I don't remember her but that is very sad that she died. She sounds like such a wonderful lady and that is a wonderful tribute you wrote.
