Dave and Tana had to go to the airport twice yesterday, so they asked if they could hang out at our house in between. Abby and Leah told us they were a little nervous about being around Tana since they didn't know her very well. Leah actually ran upstairs and hid in her room when they got here, but within five minutes Tana had totally won them over and they wanted to play with her non-stop! Abby was very sad when she woke up this morning because she didn't know how long it would be before she got to see them again.
Dave, on the other hand, did in fact scare us. He's sporting a new hairdo. Something about "business in the front, party in the back." Mom saw it, so perhaps she could provide some of her insight here.

I can see from your picture that Dave is definately not still on his mission. Maybe he should remember that one of the reasons the missionaries have conservative haircuts is because they look good. But then what does the affro kid know about haircuts?

It was really funny seeing Dave's haircut. It take a bit of self confidence to walk around in public with what he had, so I commend him for that.
Dave sent me a picture message on my phone last night showing he's now "business in the front and back" now. He's got a mission companion -- Elder Cook -- visiting with his wife from England this week.
When I saw David I burst out laughing. We would continue to talk and then I would burst out laughing again. It was probably the ugliest thing I've ever seen, but heck, who am I to talk?? Hair grows back in and if his wife doesn't care, then I don't.
It was a hilarous hairdo, that's for sure.
We loved having them come up and spend time at PCMC with us on Sunday. They are a fun couple.
