I looked out my window today and saw some things that simply pulled me outside. I decided to trudge through the snow in my backyard to get some photos and then went on a short walk around our "block." It is a wonderland here.
This tree (above) is always very pretty at Christmastime. I love the big ornaments. I tried to get a night shot of it with the lights but it didn't turn out very well.
Is this cool or what?!?! It looks like a porcupine!
This is my favorite photo. When I photo shop it I will take the man out that is cleaning his driveway.
This is in our backyard. The snow piled up on the yarrow. I love it.
I need to crop this to make it better. Neat little cone flowers now instead of yarrow.

These are awesome photos! You guys really were slammed with snow. I figure that if it's going to be cold, it might as well snow. That way, it's at least pretty. I'm sick of the grey skies. I am not looking forward to January and Feb. Those are the two longest months ever! We are taking a two week cruise in January, so hopefully that will break it up a little for us though.

I think we may decorate our blue spruce in our front yard with large ornaments next year. It looks like it'd be fun.
