Well, today Hans is 28. No, he's not home yet unfortunately. We won't see him for another week. We are all getting very anxious. We miss him so much it hurts. Happy birthday to a wonderful husband and a great dad.

Thanks everyone. I am not working much now, we have been living in tents the past couple weeks and are now just waiting for the flight to Kuwait and finally to Germany. I found a copy of west side story on VHS in our MWR (morale welfare recreation) so I popped it in, all 2.5 hours of it. I find myself feeling pretty, so pretty, and wanting to snap my fingers excessively, and I'll have to be careful to not call Lindsey "Maria" by mistake. All in all it was a great way to kill the evening. Lindsey and the kids make it all worthwile. I feel bad for the guys who will not have anyone there when they get off the plane.
Hans old man, I talked to your Honey today (the 6th) and she is excited about you coming home. She says that you are going to babysit while she goes on leave! Fat chance!
Actually she is not going to let you out of her sight for a long time. And then only to allow you to earn some more money, and only intermitently.
