Happy Halloween. I hope everyone got tons of candy. If you didn't, we'd be happy to send the 10 lbs. of candy our girls collected in a few trunk-or-treats and actual trick or treating.
Lauren was a princess, Abby was a pink pirate, and Leah was a butterfly.

We actually didn't get very much candy. We opted out of the trunk-or-treat because our friends wanted to go around the block with us and our ward is lame and chose to have the trunk-or-treat on Halloween night. It was like a three hour long activity. Anyway, the boys went around for about an hour.
Have fun in Hawaii!!
From a pure efficiency standpoint, trunk or treats are great. But I can't stand the idea. I love the neighborhood tracting for candy. -Jess
My kids have WAY TOO much candy too. We've got to get rid of it all. Especially before I snack on it myself...
Chris and I went out to eat with Alan and Lynn Teichert on Halloween. Ammon did not go, and Kaitlin just handed out candy. It is the first time in many years, probably about thirty two or more, that someone from our house has not gone trick or treating. I had to eat some of our own candy, but all the good stuff was gone.
