Do you all see that Hans is coming home in less than 15 days! Yea! That is so exciting for Lindsey and Hans and the munchkins. We can't wait for you to be reunited.
I actually did notice that today! It's coming so soon! Yeah for your family Lindsey and Hans! 2 weeks left!!! Yippe! There's a light at the end of the tunnel.
Well, I wouldn't say it's exactly 14 days left. Last time I spoke with Lindsey about his homecoming, she said "He leaves Iraq the first week of December." So I just chose a random day during that week. It will take him a few days to actually get home to Germany when he finally leaves.
We've all been watching and praying for Hans and Lindsey every day. Ammon is particularly interested to know when Hans is coming home. You're almost there, you two!! I couldn't have done it with near the grace you have, Lindsey. Mom
Grace? Is that what we're calling it these days? Grace? I thought it was called total insanity. I won't actually see him until a few days after that, but yes it's getting very exciting. It's about dang time!!! I didn't think 15 months would be too much harder than 12 months, but I was wrong. Once 12 months hit, I was done. It has been extremely hard to deal with since September (which was the 12 month mark). The crappy thing is that Hans left two weeks before most of the soldiers and he's coming home a week or two after most of them. Sometimes it's just not fair. Most of my friends husbands will be home by the time I see mine. I'm trying to be a good army (officer's) wife and not complain. If you could see me right now, I'd be gritting my teeth and plastering a fake smile on my face. :)
