Ouch is right. BYU got humiliated. After allowing 1 sack all year, BYU let TCU sack Max Hall 6 times last night. This is the third game in a row that BYU's offense has been really pretty pitiful. No flow, no rhythm, no results. Their defense has been pretty good, but last night TCU was definitely the better team. Bye, bye BCS. Hello Las Vegas bowl (unless Utah or TCU take our spot).
We were listening to the game on the radio last night as we drove to Bicknell, UT (near Capital Reef) to visit Jen's grandpa for a few days. We happened to hit a deer on the drive down. Luckily, it only dented the passenger front door and didn't do anything else. Made us nervous and actually helped us forget the pitiful game for a time. We probably saw 30 deer in a 20 mile stretch. And we got really close to one...
Well, I'd say your drive down to Bicknell wasn't so pleasant - a drubbing of the team and a drubbing of your car door. I'm so glad you guys weren't hurt or more damage was done when you hit the deer! Hope the rest of your weekend will be restful and enjoyable. Mom
