I had another David and Tana sighting! Jen and I went to Provo yesterday for the BYU-New Mexico football game. We called Brick Oven ahead of time to schedule a carryout of yummy pizza. Just as I was walking out of the restaurant with the yummi-licious pizza, Dave drove by and honked at me. Dave has season tickets and gets to enjoy every home game in person; we just bought tickets for this game only. Unfortunately, Dave's tickets and our tickets were on opposite sides of the stadium, so we didn't see him besides that.
We were expecting horrible weather: the weatherman the night before said the high at kickoff (4pm) would be 39 and it'd be about 35 by the fourth quarter. Oh, and it was supposed to be a rain/snow mix. The reality: about 40-42 degrees all game, but with a wind chill that reminded you why winter isn't you favorite season. No precipitation all game. Even saw some sunshine! Both Jen and I had on tons of layers so we stayed warm enough. And the Cougs won 21-3. The defense has only allowed 2 touchdowns in the last 4 games.
Another football note: on Saturday morning we played flag football (stake). We played through heavy snowfall. It was snowing enough that you had to squint just to see. Nothing was sticking to the asphalt, but the grass had a layer of snow. It all melted through the day, but we got more overnight and woke up to more snow on all vegetation. Good thing it's going to be 70 again by Thursday because I'm not ready for this.

You lucked out and I sounded like the Cougars did, too. I am gland I do not get to go when it is that cold.

Wish we were able to go to the game! Even if they lost it's still would've been fun to go and freeze! ;)
