A Little Trivia Found on BYU Campus

What building is this? I expect only one person in the family to know where this is.

My favorite tree on campus. Anyone know where it might be found?
You can walk under it standing upright. If it weren't for pine gum, this would be the world's greatest tree to climb.

Look at how the branches are located -- perfect to climb clear up to the top! It's like standing under a huge umbrella.

One of the tree's branches - it's spring.

This is Amy and my guess is that the building is the bean museum. Is that right?
No clue about the tree, though!

My first thought is that it's near the south side of the HBLL library, just north of the CID (west of the Twilight Zone). But after seeing Amy's response, I think I'll have to agree with her. -jess

Yep - it's the west side of the Bean Museum.

Oh, and the tree is in front of the Morris Center Cafeteria. I'm really glad it didn't get torn down with the DT buildings.

Even I (the black sheep) knew it was the Bean Museum. Somewhat surprising, isn't it?

How would you know that?! Have you ever been to the Museum? Funny.

Don't let him fool you: Jason really has this suppressed urge/fascination with BYU. He studies up on it whenever and as often as he can. Hence his knowledge of the Bean Museum.

Actually, I love the BYU campus - just not the BYU culture. I agree with Mom that it is one of the most beautiful campuses around. I have been to the BYU campus including the Bean Museum lots of times. My boys really liked the museum. What I love most about college campuses is the feeling of anticipation I get. There is so much knowledge and information that I just can't wait to get my hands on. The neat thing is knowing that it is just behind the next door.

What is the BYU culture? Honor code? Curfew? I don't understand why people are haters of BYU. What have we done (seriously) to create this angst among those on the outside of BYU looking in? Every USU Aggie I know feels this way, too. What is it?

I absolutely loved going to byu - curfew and all! Although, I probably didn't follow that curfew the way I should have sometimes...
My brother has a hard time with the culture, too.
