I'm looking for advice, prayers, whatever

It is 12:30 here right now. Elijah woke up this morning around 5:30 and then went back to sleep around 6:15. He woke up again at about 6:30 and I got him to go back to sleep in fifteen minutes. Then he slept until about 10:30 in the morning. He woke up and in about an hour I could tell he was tired again so I went and nursed him and tried to get him to go to sleep. Three hours later he finally fell asleep (2:30). Then he woke up again about 4:00. It is now 12:30 and he has only slept a half an hour since 4:00 and he is still not asleep. We don't know what to do. We have held him for the last four hours, each taking turns so as not to get too upset with him. We fasted on Sunday that it would get better and it seemed to for about two days but is now back to how it was before. All three of my children were like this only Will had colic so his issues were a bit different. Is there something I'm doing to cause him not to sleep? We have a bouncy vibrating seat, a swing, a sling to carry him in, an exercise ball I bounce on while I'm holding him. We've tried giving him baths and massages. We've tried gas drops and reflux medicine. We've tried letting him cry it out for awhile. I really don't know what to do anymore and it is exhausting. It really is crazy that he has only slept a little over two hours since 10:30 this morning. And...this isn't a bad day, this is a normal day for him. Just like it was normal for Isaac.

I wish I had advice for you, but you've already tried the swing and crying and that's what has worked for my girls. We will remember to pray for you guys though! Good luck! I wish we were close enough that I could take a turn holding him!

He ended up falling asleep at 2:00 AM. We would be happy with prayers....

I'm sorry Adrianne - I have no advice, either. But I can tell you that I'm so sorry and I hope that this will turn around for you soon.
We love you!

Sounds like certain of my own kids. No wonder Chris and I are a little tweked in the brain.

Keep trying is all you can do and hope that the Lord will bless him and you both.
