4 years: My Daddy can do anything!
7 years: My Dad knows a lot…a whole lot.
8 years: My father does not know quite everything.
12 years: Oh well, naturally Father does not know that either.
14 years: Oh, Father? He is hopelessly old-fashioned.
21 years: Oh, that man-he is out of date!
25 years: He knows a little bit about it, but not much.
30 years: I must find out what Dad thinks about it.
35 years: Before we decide, we will get Dad's idea first.
50 years: What would Dad have thought about that?
60 years: My Dad knew literally everything!
65 years: I wish I could talk it over with Dad once more.
I think we all fit in here somewhere! Funny how our persectives change as we age! Love to you all for your great work as wonderful fathers!

This morning I was thinking about all the great fathers in our own family. You all do such a great job as fathers. I have been impressed with how many of you are willing to change diapers, feed babies, go on camp-outs, babysit while your wives do something for themselves or for somebody else. I am so grateful for the fact that you all honor your priesthood and set such good examples for your children.
I consider myself a very blessed and lucky person to be in the company of such wonderful sons and daughters (and grandchildren, of course).
May you all be blessed this coming year in your efforts of parenting.

I do fit in with the 30-year-old description (even though I'm not officially 30!). I can't count how many times I've called Dad or visited him asking what I should do about my brakes, lawn, landscaping, church lessons, etc. He's a great resource. -Jester
