You might be a redneck if...

You let your son play outside in his diaper, dirty truck shirt, snowboots and toting a shovel. Need I say more here? I guess we fit right in with all the Kentuckians around here...

Yes, I was REALLY tired by the time this happened last night. I couldn't even argue with him. He actually dressed himself-- boots and all. I had just changed his diaper and the kids were leaving with Brent. Jake wasn't about to stay indoors. Not when there's a giant mudpile next door. I couldn't help but laugh and grab the camera. Don't we have a picture of David looking pretty similar to this?

He had a blast though and wore himself out!

Hey, we got our girls those same boots this winter. Did you get them at WalMart for $7.44 or something? They only had one pink pair left (which Abby got) so we convinced Leah that blue boots were really cool. She didn't object and has used them all winter. (speaking of winter, we had more valley snow today...) -Jess

Those are both great pictures. I love the last one. My boys do the same thing. They take their shovels and trucks and go play in the dirt.

Yep! Wally World it was! Jake loves those silly boots. He wears them as often as he can. Sarah's feet were too big to wear the pink ones. She opted for a second hand pair from Once Upon A Child. She thinks they're cool though because they light up.

What a wonderful photo of little Jake! Print it off and hang it in his room so when he gets older and you want to hang him, you can look at the sweet, peaceful look and remember who he really is - a sweet child of God.

We have an old picture of Jason that this reminds me of. I will try to find it.

Jake is a cutie. You all should know that he has learned to call grandpa on the phone. Six times in a few minutes. And he even knew who he was talking to. He just didn't need to talk for long. He said his mother was all wet. I think that means she was in the shower.
