Are you all still watching American Idol? I like David Archuletta the best. He's been an amazing singer since he was a little kid. Sayesha's version of Yesterday was great this week though. I know Simon didn't like Carly's song choice with Blackbird, but that's one of our family favorites and I thought she did well too. Who's going to win this thing? Any preditions?

Isn't David Archuletta that kid from UT? If he is the kid I am thinking of - the one Paula wants to hang from her rearview mirror - than I think I will pass. He has the makings of a great voice but it still hasn't matured. He needs to give it a couple of years. His voice just seems too young to me.
Yeah, he's from UT. His voice sounds raspy because he only has 1/2 the vocal chords the rest of us use. I guess he got really sick several years ago and it paralized some of the chords. David Cook is pretty good too, although I didn't really like this weeks song.
Jen and I haven't really started watching Idol yet. We like to wait until it gets serious (like less than 10 contestants) and then we may invest ourselves in the show. But for now, we've only seen bits and pieces.
The only show we watch religiously is LOST. We must be suckers.

Idol is great this year. I think they have the best overall talent ever. I love David Archuleta because he does his own arrangements and never goes over the top - does it just right. He has some maturing to do, but if I didn't look at him I would never know he is only 17. And I really like his attitude!
I don't much like Brooke's voice but it has its place - it's kind of raspy and unique. I hated her song this week but she's beautiful and will probably last a couple more weeks. I loved Blackbird this week. I think Carly has a great voice that is quite versatile. That's why I liked her version of Blackbird.
I like the rocker guy, too. I think he has a great chance of winning. I'm still surprised the country girl with blonde hair is still there. I don't think she's anything special.
In the end, I think it will be either David Archuleta, David Cook (rocker guy - is that his name) or Carly Smithson. I guess we'll see.

LOST is so confusing these days that we've given up on it. We tried to figure it out when it came back on, but we're still "Lost".
We love LOST. Have you watched all the series? We watch any of them that we missed on ABC.com. We didn't used to watch them but we got hooked when we went to Maryland for Christmas.
I have been watching Idol sometimes. I like the David guy. Carly has a good voice but for some reason she bugs me. But I think she will also be one of the top people. I don't remember which one is David Cook. Is he the one with the accent? I like him.
I am a total idol junky and the good thing for me is it comes on a day later here so i don't have to wait in total suspense of who got voted off because i just have to get online after I watch the performance shows and see who got eliminated. It's great! I LOVE David Archuleta. I've never heard a more beautiful version of "Imagine" then when I heard him sing it. I agree with mom that this is by far the most amazing year for overall talent. I like David Cook too and I did love Syeshia's version of Yesterday too. I also like the guy with the accent. Brooke is way too mormon for me. Too cute. I do like her raspy sound though.

Is Brooke mormon? I can't tell by her clothing. Sometimes her things are short so I wondered if she is mormon and if she is, I don't think she has gone through the temple. But I could be wrong. Also, what is wrong with being Mormon? I guess I don't understand that problem with being good and sticking to it and acting what you believe.
I'm not saying being mormon is a bad thing. I added that she's way too cute. That's what I mean by being too mormon. You know the type of girl I'm talking about...niave, almost stupid. But they aren't really stupid, they just act like it because they think it's cute. They act like there is nothing bad in the world and that nothing bad could ever happen to them because they are perfect. It just discusts me. That way too positive attitude. Maybe it's the pesimist in me. I think it's important to stand up for good and right, but there's a limit before you become self righteous and everyone hates you. Brooke just seems to act way too stupid and good natured. Maybe I just can't handle happy people right now. So sue me why don't you!

I've been trying to watch biggest loser, but Adam is into american idol and so I have sort of watched it here and there. I like the guy with the dreads - whatever his name is.
