How Much??!@&%^$@($*#@)# per gallon?

I've been riding on fumes for two days now and this morning finally found time to stop at the gas station. The cheapest gas within 5 miles of my house was $3.29/gallon. I was flipping out! Then 2 hrs later, I'm passing that same gas station and several others along the way and notice the price of regular unleaded had gone up to $3.45! What the heck! Eggs, bread, milk, and seemingly every product I buy has gone up 20 cents each. Eggs were almost $3. for 18 the other day! Is Ohio getting ripped off or are you all paying the same astronomical prices we are?

It's almost the same here. We are going to have to stop eating and driving anywhere. Its a good thing spring is coming - I can ride my bike.

I got gas for $2.99/gal a few days ago, but the Chevrons are already up to $3.15. Must be that Techron stuff...

We've noticed eggs go up, too. We probably pay $2 for a dozen. Milk at Wallyworld is $2.50/gal.

I wish I had a bike and that the roads on the way to work for me were a little more biker friendly. Actually, I wish I had a motorcycle for the 8 months of the year I could ride it to work.

Get ready, all of you, for a very rough ride with food items. Flour doubled in price over the weekend. Rice will be at an astronmical price as well. All oils are higher than they ever been -- edible oils, that is. If you don't have your food storage, you may be in trouble right now.

We've been paying 3.29 per gallon for weeks! We're supposed to be paying the national average price but that's just a big butt load of crap!! We are always paying the high prices before you guys see it in the states. I'm sure it's gone up now because I haven't gotten gas in a week. As far as food goes, we're getting ripped off there too. We don't have another choice either so it's a huge monopoly. No one can afford to shop on the economy because the dollar is so weak. For $1, we get .60 cent euro. It's killing us!

Yeah, living in Europe is pretty expensive, but at least with the military you get a pretty good cost of living allowance. Can you imagine if you had to do all shopping at German stores? I remember when we lived in Germany (13-10 years ago) the Germans were paying about $4.00/gallon for gas. We had to pay more than most places back home but we were glad we didn't have to pay full price.

Time for everyone to eat beans and rice--cheap and very healthy. Remember to soak the beans before you cook them, though. If you don't, and you aren't used to it, it does some pretty bad stuff with your guts.

Oh, and milk at Walmart here has been almost $4 for a long, long time. We pay almost $3 at the commissary for milk and a dozen eggs at the commissary is $1.83. We have been paying these prices for a long time, it's not a new thing to us. I haven't gotten gas for awhile so I don't know what it is now but we drove by the gas station on base on Saturday and it was $2.94. I'm sure it has gone up since then.
