Christmas Candy Train

I was thinking about doing those cute candy christmas trains we used to do when we made the gingerbread houses. I don't remember what you're supposed to use for the train though. Was it just fun size candy bars and hershey kisses for the smokestack? Mom -- fill me in on the details if you would. I think the kids will like making them one night this weekend. I think lifesavers are in there somewhere too.

I'll give you a call with the details. You use regular size candy bars and cut them to fit the various size cars. There's lots of fun things to put on them and the kids always loved making these. They are a heck of a lot easier than gingerbread houses.

We got an actual Gingerbread House kit and are assembling it today. I say today instead of now because the instructions say to set the walls, let them sit for a few hours, then do the same to the roof, let it sit for a few hours, then decorate. This is obviously a kit for an adult, not a 4 and 2 year old kid.
