So I havent posted anything on here for a while, so I decided to post a few things I have been up to. I am still going to school, Mon- Fri 8 AM to 4:30 PM. So far we have learned Round, Square, and Triangular cuts, and also Round graduation, Square graduation, and Triangular graduation. I cut 4 inches off of Kaitilins hair two sundays ago, and it turned out pretty good. I also cut another girls hair at school so I could pass it off for my instructor, and I did pretty good on her as well. We have also learned eyebrow and eyelash tinting, waxing, finger waves, styling, facials, manicures, pedicures, makeup.. and alot more. Thats just a few to let you know what I have been doing. I enjoy it alot, and I have some great instuctors! We are planning a trip to Long Beach, Cali at the end of Jan. to go see a hair show. I am hoping I can go; the hours we spend there will also count as part of my 2,000 hours to get my license. It will be 400 dollars, so I guess I am going to have to save, and ask for only money for my birthday and christmas! We will be going to disney land while we are there too, so that would be good to experience; it wont be as busy as it was when I was last there. I am still working at Maceys. I wish I wasn't, but they keep giving me raises and they work with my schedule, so I guess I should stay. They are offering Kaitlin a job there when she turns 16. I also teach a Musical Theater class over at the Dance studio where we dance. I have 28 students, and I love it! We are doing an all disney-themed show this year. Anyway, I am rarley home. I guess staying busy is a good thing sometimes though. Well, I hope all is well for all of you. I am going to post some pictures from a night when I went with some friends to see the Meteor Shower. It was pretty cool! There is a huge park up at the top of Woodland Hills and we all met up there to watch it.

Gillian, how do you find time to do any of that? Holy cow, you sound busy. Glad you're picking up new skills so that I can stop cutting my own hair and let you do it.

well, I dont really have time, but in the middle of the night. Thats why I even went to watch the meteor shower; it was at one in the morning! haha. no but really, I am busy. Its hard because after school, I work M-Thur from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and saturdays I work an 8 hour shift. Yea, I am burned out. We can have a family home evening and I can teach all the mothers in our family how to cut hair. Soung good? I would love to cut anyone's hair, but I am so far away. If you are willing to come down, I would do it.

Oh my girls so need "real" haircuts. I just need to wait a little while for it to grow out a little bit (Abby's hair used to grow pretty fast, but I'm not sure it has grown at all since I cut it short!) Abby is too freaked out about getting her hair cut to go to somewhere to get it done, but I'm sure I could get her to have Aunt Gillian cut it!

after I read my comment I just wanted to make sure it was clear that "real" means someone who knows what they're doing (like Gillian) and not me (who has no idea...)
