Gorgeous. I love the pictures. I see what you mean when you were referring to your lack of lawn due to the dry weather.

The house looks great. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Beautiful! How fun for you! Is the top half of the walls in the dining room or a brown or a green? Either way it is so pretty! I love it! have fun continuing to unpack! We're glad you guys have the internet now, we missed hearing from you!

I love the house. I'm excited to come and see it for reals. Mike said, "All I have to do if I want to know the season is look at Chelsey's house. She always has cool decorations."

That's really funny Mike! I think Brent's just glad I like places like Big Lots and garage saleing.(sp?)

Jen- I think my dining room is a chocolate brown but Brent thinks it's a green shade. I already have 2 vases that are torquoise and brown that match the paint. I want to make drapes to match the vases, but Brent is yet to be convinced. The color is from Porter paint and called Roman Bronze.

Well, whether it is brown or green, I think it looks great. I like dark brown rooms a lot. I wish I had a room to paint that color but I don't...darn. Maybe someday. I love the contrast in your dining room, with the light bottom and dark top! Good luck convincing Brent (and making drapes!)

I think Sarah's room is so cute. I love what you did with the stenciling all over the house too. Did you do that yourself? I wish I could live in such a gorgeous house. I'm still a little bumbed you didn't choose the one with the pool, but this house is better than that one. Don't worry though, I'll get over it. :)

Beautiful pictures of the house.

It would have been great to come see it when Jason went, however with my sister's wedding the next day I had so much I had to help my mother with that I couldn't leave. My Mom would have been so upset with me if I had left her alone, she was a wreck the day before the wedding. In fact at 11p.m. at night, the night before the wedding she asked me to hem her dress for the reception. She had completely forgotten to do that or have it taken somewhere.

Somehow Jason snuck away. Glad he got to see you. Maybe Thanksgiving time one of these years we will have to make the trip there. OR

You are welcome to come to our home for Thanksgiving. It's about a 7-9 hour drive depending on how the children act and how many bathroom breaks you take while traveling.

I see you guys got your fence in. It looks great.

The fence was a nightmare! We've lost probably 20 yards off our yard because they put it in wrong. Long story short, they were trying to charge us to pull out the posts they put in incorrectly, but that didn't fly too well with us. We basically had to come to a compromise. The other side of the fence is an easment where the city could come rip our fence out if they ever needed to work on the drains over there. We chose to move the fence inward so we wouldn't have to worry about it being torn down for city work. We didn't want the drains in our yard anyway. I think we'll just try to plant some trees or something on the outside of the fence.
