Not much time to write about my trip, but I did take the time to post pictures. After being gone for a week during the middle of fire season, I spent well over an hour getting caught up on my 108 emails...

Cool pictures. I've never been to Lake Superior. How long were you gone for? I didn't realize when I talked to you yesterday that you had just gotten back.
My flight left Sunday, August 5 at 8:30 am (darn it, I missed Ward Council...) and I got home at noon on Saturday, August 11. Just in time to celebrate Abby's 4th birthday on Saturday.
Wow! What wonderful photos! Makes me want to go there. Thanks for posting them. It looks like you had a great time up there.
And, by the way, how about posting some photos of Abbey's birthday?! We'd like to see her little mug with a great big HAPPY BIRTHDAY along side.
Isn't that part of the country beautiful?! I have been to a few cities that sit right on Lake Superior. Very similar in Michigan. I loved it. There are also some amazing spots on Lake Michigan on the very top of the lake. How beautiful!
From the picture of Tony and Brian I can see where the idea of a beard on Jess comes from. My question is how does he still get kisses from Jen when it is like that. Chris requires a shave just to get a hug.
All in all I am jealous of you being able to go there. I have been to Mineappolis (sp) but have not been able to go further north. Wow, it is pretty. And you got paid for this trip?
