How's Jerry Springer's city? Can you believe he used to be the mayor there in Cinci? Are you all settled in yet? How do you like the humidity? Aren't the lightening storms incredible? Let us all know how things are going.
Well, I don't think Brent checks the blog and Chelsey won't have internet for at least two months. They are staying in a furnished apartment for two months while they secure a home. I called her a few days ago and she said the kids were very good on the flight out there but Geoffrey woke up the next morning saying, "The flight was fun...let's go get on the plane and go home now."
I talked to Chelsey today and she said the kids are bored out of their minds. There are no kids in the area where they are and they don't have a lot of their own stuff because it's all in storage. Chelsey's big push now is to find a house as quickly as possible. They are still looking around at different areas, keeping an open mind about where to settle. She is hoping to find a suburb where there are kids for her kids to play with and where there are a few younger couples. All in all, however, they are doing well. Jacob is getting over a cold. So they have made a temporary move -- it will be lots better once they have their own place, their own furniture, toys, etc., etc.
We're here and surviving the best we can. The kids are bored so being the nice mom I am I took them to Borders and bought them each a workbook to get them reading and doing math again. He, He, He... They weren't too thrilled with that. Geoff just wanted the 7th Harry Potter. Good luck with that one for a while! We're spending our 1st Saturday house hunting. I guess we'd better get moving. Our realtor just showed up. Wish us luck!
