Snapping Turtle
Thursday Jared ran home with his hands all bandged up saying he was bit by gigantic snapping turtle. I didn't believe him at first until he took my camera and took lots of pictures.

That looks a little scary. I think that would have scarred Abby for life had she seen something like that.
Holy Cow! I've never seen such a huge turtle! Is Jared ok? Did he get bites and/or just scratches? This looks like a pre-historic reptile!
Jared is okay, he just bled a little. The turtle did break skin, but the area doesn't look infected so he is fine. It does look prehistoric. I wonder how old it is?
