I don't have much time this morning so I will make this quick. About 2 weeks ago, Michelle informed me that she was late. That is not normal for her but I thought nothing of it. I asked her the next day - still not surfing - and the next and the next and the next. I started to get worried. Finally, Saturday (two weeks late) she took a pregnancy test. She called me into the bathroom and with red, teary eyes showed me two very positive tests. Now I was very worried. We have given all of our baby stuff away. I spent the night thinking and praying about the situation. I woke up Sunday morning feeling resigned to #7. When Michelle called me down to breakfast, all the kids were already there, each holding a sign that read A, P, R, I, L, and Fools. It didn't register at first and I just kind of stared. Michelle started laughing hysterically, hooting, "I got you, I got you." It turns out that two weeks ago she was surfing the crimson tide but pretending to be mad at me so I would stay away and not get any ideas. She kept playing up the "I am late" card and finished the prank by getting a pregnant friend to take the test for her. A good bit of acting on her part and I took it hook, line, and sinker. She is so busted.
Gotta go. I've got some mice waiting to be MRI'd this morning.

Oh my gosh!!! That is the funniest thing ever. Michelle is the best when it comes to surprises and jokes. I need to take lessons!
Yes, I finally got him! It was such an awesome feeling to have him going like that, he was sure I was pregnant. I really didn't know I could act so well. Only problem is, "What goes around comes around." So I think I'm in trouble. It's so much fun.

That takes some serious planning Michelle! Holy Cow! I think Brent would've died if I'd pulled something like that! I'm sure the kids thought it was hilarious too!
Jim was telling us the story last night and I jumped way ahead and said, "She must have gotten someone to give her a pregnancy strip." Jim was a little ticked that I guessed ahead what you did. But it was truly funny!
My friend, Jan, called me and told me that her ex-husband had decided that he needed to change and wondered if she would ever consider getting back with him so they could unite their family better. (After she had re-married in the temple.) She played me along with this for quite awhile and I kept thinking, "She's so sick for even thinking about this!" Then it turned out to be an April Fools story. Could have wrung her neck.
I think, Michelle, that you are in for a very good prank!

I made it through the day without getting or giving any April Fools pranks. It was kinda anti-climatic, although if Jen approached me and said she was pregnant, I'd be very concerned as well. Freaked out.
