Here is Jared with his trophy and Truck.
It's funny because these friends of ours from our old ward were there at the Derby and after the race asked to inspect the "car". The dad of the guy we know was visiting from Davenport Iowa, kept saying over and over, "I just don't understand how a truck won, it's so much wood up front." He was inspecting where we put the weights and everything.
I'm so happy for Jared since every year he comes in Dead Last. He is still beaming!!

I don't understand how a truck could win, either. That's crazy. After looking at Brenden's car, I'd have thought his would be faster, but I guess not.

I can't believe that he got a trophy! Wow, that's cool! All Ammon got was a candy bar which he couldn't eat. That's an awesome looking truck and Brenden's car looks sleek like Ammon's.
