I have helped make 8 or 9 pinewood derby cars so far and have never done well. I always make a point to have the boys design their own cars and then we work from there. Last year, for example, Brenden wanted a bus. This year, Jared decided that he wanted a truck. His truck was so fast that it set two track records for speed. Needless to say, he won it all. He was very excited. When we find our camera I will take some pictures and post them on the blog. Brenden didn't do as well but there is always next year.
I hope it is warmer where ever the rest of you are. It was 21 degrees this morning with 20+ mph winds. I thought I was going to freeze to death.

Jason, you beat your dad's record of having a child win a race sooner than his kids did. Good for you guys.

I think it's hilarious that a truck won the pinewood derby. I never would have guessed. Congratulations Jared.
As mom said, the weather out here couldn't be nicer. I went to the driving range twice this week and am excited to test my skills out on the course.
