Check out this image. Until recently, Google Earth hasn't had high-resolution imagery of this area. Anyone know what it is? If you want to zoom in and pan around, open Google Earth and enter this in the search:

Enjoy!

its windy hill.. it says it on the pic hah. this is gillian btw.
Yeah, it is Windy Hill Hog Farm. The coolest thing is that they finally have high-res imagery. I thought Dad, Mom, Jason, and Adam would find this pretty interesting since they have the best memories of the farm.
I can't believe all the trees that have grown up in the waterway. I rememer the day they pulled the lone big cottonwood tree out so they could re-do the waterway. I felt like Jane Fonda on a mission -- I wanted to sit in that only tree on the property and demand that they leave it there. But they tore it down anyway! I can identify every single building. I remember Dad getting a tractor and truck stuck just above the farm to the east. He kept trying to find new ways to get stuck because the thought 4-wheel drive was so cool. (I guess!) Jason, I'm glad to hear that you had a happy childhood here -- Chelsey will tell you a different story because of her total fear of mice. We did have a lot of fun times, as a family, though while we were living on the farm. The place looks good. I think Dr. Gaufin still owns it.
I seem to remember two big cottonwoods down there. One had the tire swing and the other had a broken tree house. I, too, was very mad at Dad for tearing those trees down. There was also another tree in that same general area about 50 yards south of the trailer. I think it was a locust. I remember this tree because after Dad uprooted it, he tried to burn the stump. He left it unattended and went into town with Mom. I remember the day well because the unattended fire got out of control and had burned about an acre of grass before I noticed it and called the Panama fire department. By the time they arrived, I had managed to put out most of the fire by throwing what was left of that winter's snow on it.

Gillian is right. It's Windy Hill. It says that when you click on it. But, I knew it was that before I clicked on it because of the lagoon.
