I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get to make a single with Randy Boothe and Jacob Tuttrell (a back up singer for Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken)!!! I got 100 dollars cash, and I will be on the radio! WAHOO!!!! This is definitly my dream come true, and hopefully this will jumpstart my career! Thanks to all of you who believe it me. I love you all!

Holy crap! Congrats girl. That's awesome. I'm proud of you. What other songs did you have to sing? How did they run the program? When do you record stuff? So, I guess Kaitlin needs to try out for it next year if they do it. Got to have it in the family ya know! I'm proud of my little sisters. They make me jelous but in a good way. I love you!
RAD! I'm so excited for you. Too bad I couldn't be there to hear you. I was always too nervous to sing in front of people. I really loved being in Women's Chorus and wanted to try out for Concert Choir, but had to work too much. Anyway, now I am graduated and don't have a lot of opportunities to sing or perform (except to my kids--I sing to them everyday). I say, if you have a way to continue singing...jump at any chance!!!
oh man, like I still cant believe it! It went like this: I tried out wed night at 9:05 pm. They only picked 20 ppl to be in the finals,which were last night. Each person had to sing a song that was 2 minutes long. I sang Inside your heaven by Carrie Underwood the whole time because When I sang it on wed night, Randy Boothe said it was a fantastic song for my voice, and he loved my licks and belts and that It was amazing...so I didnt want to change the song. After the final 20 went, everyone voted for 3 ppl. The top three then sang... which were me, and an another girl, and boy. Then, everyone voted and they announced the winner and handed me a 100 dollar bill. They also said I Would be making a single and working with Randy and Jacob Tuttrell. Holy cow.. this is definitly my dream come true! Dave Salcido cut my music, so I owe him big time! I am definitly on cloud 9! Yea- katy needs to try out next year! Well- talk to you all later! Hooray for Gillian - we are so excited for you!
Gillian (and mom, dad, Ammon, and Kaitlin) came up last night for dinner and we had Gillian sing her song for us. It was pretty impressive and fun to her of her successes. Way to go Gilly!
