BUSY DAY!

We had a very busy day yesterday. Gillian, Kaitlin and I went up to help with Sarah's very cute birthday party, got to hold Lauren when Jen and Jess came to pick up Abby and Leah (best behaved guests at the party, by the way), went shopping at Kohls for the girls, hurried back home to get ready to go to Guys and Dolls, dropped Kaitlin and Ammon off at Adam's by 6:30 p.m. and went to the play. We got home about 11 p.m. We were all dead today! I think I dozed through most of Sacrament Meeting! Yesterday was a fulfilling day, however.

Sarah's party was really cute. Chelsey had done a lot of work with wings and wands and Sarah's little fairy skirt was adorable. It was fun to go up and just relax and enjoy myself. I felt like I was finally a "Mary" today instead of "Martha." I am always hurrying around working and rarely know how to relax and do something else. Thanks to Chelsey for asking us to come up!

Adam's play was great fun. I'm sure glad he isn't a real drunk! He seemed to have the part down very well. There were a lot of funny lines in the play. I had never seen it nor did I know the story but I was familiar with many of the songs. Thanks to Adam for the invitation , too! I think it would be easy for me to get hooked on community theater. That's the second one we've been to since February and we enjoyed both very much. Adam had several parts -- a drunk, a Cuban dancer (with a partner), and a thug from Chicago who doesn't like to lose money. (A gambler.) He did well and we enjoyed watching him.

I hope all of you had a great weekend. I see from Adrianne's photos that they had a great birthday party for Will, too. I think it's awesome that my daughters are so creative!!!

Have a great week.
Mom

P.S. Good luck to you, Jess!! We are praying for you to pass that exam and get school over with once and for all!

Hey, we had fun bringing the girls. Jen and I dropped Abby and Leah off at the Pugh's and then took Lauren with us to the driving range. Jen and I each hit a bucket of balls while Lauren slept in her car seat 10 feet behind us. We've sure had some gorgeous weather!

Mother, you need to restate that not ALL your daughters are creative. I definately lack that ability!
