Winter Fun in Elk Ridge

This is what our world looked like yesterday morning in Elk Ridge. The "rope" was not a rope but it was the pile of snow that had been on the top of the bench. As it began to melt, it drooped and looked like this. It was beautiful, even if it was snow!

Hey, you did great! How did you get the picture off of the video camera?

Wow. These are cool pictures. I know you are all sick of the snow but it makes me miss Utah. Sigh. Though, I don't know if I'd trade our 70 degree weather.

I am getting a bit tired of winter. It just won't let go. We had an ice storm on Saturday. Our power was out for 3 hours but other parts of I.C. had their power out for nearly 24 hours. I have tree limbs all over my yard. It could have been a lot worse but the wind was blowing pretty hard so the ice got broken up and knocked off the branches before too much could accumulate. The roads are in pretty good condition but my driveway is a sheet of ice. I used a whole bag of salt trying to keep it clean but it just kept coming down. I am sure spring will be here one of these days.
