Night wakings

Last night Isaac woke up every hour and would pretty much cry until he fell asleep again. He hasn't pooped in days so I finally got him to poop and he exploded. But then, he stopped crying for awhile and actually giggled. The rest of the time he just coughed, and wheezed, and blew snot bubbles all night. It really was sad when he would be asleep and start coughing and choking on his cough and then wake up crying. What a sad boy. At 4:50 I was so exhausted from getting up with him (I had put him down 20 minutes before that for about the sixth time that night) that I had Mike get me ear plugs. Mike got him up and put him in his bouncy seat but that only worked about five minutes. Then he cried until 6:00, when Mike gave him medicine and put him back in bed. Then Mike went to work and at 6:15 Will woke up.

In other depressing news....We are being told to count on our power being out for a few days. I think you guys already got a big storm and it is coming to us tonight. http://weather.msn.com/local.aspx?wealocations=wc:USOK0400 I need to think of foods we can eat without power. Ideas?

In fun news...Will is being really fun today. He watches Sesame Street and when Elmo comes on he sings "Elmo's World" with Elmo. It is so cute. He also helps me load and unload the dishes and it is so fun to watch him sort stuff.

Well, Isaac is awake again so I better go.

Oh, so so sad! I used to have to hold Lindsey a lot because she had bronchitis and/or asthma so much when she was a baby. I always felt so sad for her because she struggled to breathe easily all the time! It's hard to see your baby be sick and it's hard to keep smiling when you, yourself, are so tired. As long as I had enough sleep when Ammon was a baby, I could handle life. But get me good and tired and all I could do was cry! Good luck -- our prayers are with both of you.

It was 55 degrees in Provo yesterday and now we're expecting a low of 0 in a few days. The storm is currently hitting SLC pretty good and we're getting a good amount of snow dumped on us right now (about 11 am). It started right at 7:30 when I got to work.

I'm sorry to hear about RSV with Ike. Leah has a little cold (I gave it to her) and she's incredibly cranky when she's sick at all. We all pray for healthy kids just so we don't kill them in the mean time.
