Jacob recently had quite the encounter with the bathtub. He had already had his bath, when he decided he still wanted to play barbies with Sarah in the tub. I was standing there with him, when all of the sudden, he just launched himself over into the tub -- pj's and all. I flipped out thinking he was going to drown, but he just looked up at me with a huge smile and started splashing around -- quite proud of himself. After I realized he was okay, I couldn't help but laugh. He was certainly having fun. You should've seen the 20lb diaper we took off!
Jake also just celebrated his 1st birthday on the 27th. He obviously didn't seem to understand what it all meant, but enjoyed the attention anyway. He didn't even seem to like his cake (neither did I for that matter). He was happy with the little tickle toes bear though. It sounds just like his big sister Sarah's laugh. That makes us all laugh. Gosh, where did this last year all go??

Aren't you glad you have a camera that will allow you to share these silly moments with the rest of us?! I'm glad. I just wish I had one. Someone put a bug in Jim's ear. Convince him that he should join in with the younger generation and get with the programs!
I love how blue his eyes are. He looks like a very happy baby--I guess toddler now, weird.
