Dave's new apartment is roughly where my mouse (the little hand) is located in the center of the image. I know Dave's email said "Appeldoorn" but I think it's supposed to be spelled "Apeldoorn." When I searched for Appeldoorn, it took me to a suburb of Amsterdam. When I changed the spelling to one "p", it found the correct city. It may make no difference at all when mailing him letters, but it does when mapping the location.

Dave's new location

You're right -- I googled it as well and found the city with only one "p" in the spelling.
