I feel like since Adrianne is still at the medical center I am responsible for posting a picture of Ike. So, here you go...it won't upload any pictures. Sorry. I'll try again later. He is still in the nursery, and there is some confusion about how long he'll have to stay. They took an x-ray of him and our pediatrician told us that he has a fluid-sac in his lungs and that he might have to stay 4 or 5 more days. Then, the nurse came in and said," I think the doctor is confused about whose baby is whose- yours does not have a fluid sac, it's the other baby in there." In any case, we don't get to have him for a while and only got to see him for 1/2 an hour today- no touching, only looking. We appreciate all of your prayers and are certain everything will work out just fine.

Okay, Mike what's going on? It seems like everyone else knows what's up. I can't call and get any info because I'm out of town without a phone. Is everything okay? How much did he weigh and how long was he? Why was he so early, etc. Please update me or else I think I will die from curiosity. I understand you are probably pretty busy at the moment, but when you get a chance, let me know. Thanks. Congrats by the way. I can't help but be a little jelous that Adrianne already had her baby. I'm very happy for both of you.

Lindsey, Isaac had some trouble breathing. They are keeping him in the nursery until he learns to breath normally. They say he is okay- no fluid sacs in his lungs. He has now developed jaundis (SP?) and they are keeping him under some bright lights to take care of that.
He was born at 8:39 Sunday morning. He weighed 6 lbs 0.6 oz, and was 20 inches long. We hope your baby comes early too, but not so early that you have to leave her at the hospital.
Adrianne is at home now and is doing well.

I know Abby had jaundice, too, and Leah may have as well. Now, Abby is pale like me and Leah is tan and olive like Jen. Poor Abby.
Thanks for the info Mike. I'm glad to hear Adrianne is doing well. Let me know when your cute little boy gets out. I'm glad to hear there was no problem with excess fluid.
