I was just cruising through Google Earth, looking at Iowa City and wondering when the photos were taken. I realized that they were taken within the last three years. I saw my car and my three year old deck. Pretty cool.
GE says they will never have imagery older than 3 years old in their database (in the United States). I'm not sure that's entirely the case, but that's what they say. Granted, in non-urban areas, the imagery may be 3 yrs. old or newer, but it won't be the high resolution stuff.
