Mike came home the other day and asked if I wanted to go to Seattle. I was surprised and then he said that at work they have been talking about sending him to Seattle for six weeks to learn about friction stir-welding. This is the same process Mike did his senior project on at BYU and he is the only one on base that knows anything about this process. He wants Will and I to go with him. The catch is that we will have a baby Isaac. The baby is due at the end of Aug. and the class is in September. I'm concerned about this. I don't know what to do.

Jen says she doesn't know how you'd handle it staying at home with a brand new baby and Will while Mike is gone. Jen's vote is to head to Seattle! (Or you really ought to just stop by in SLC and stay with us for 6 weeks...imagine the fun we'd have out here with your kids and with a walking Leah. We also have a minivan, so you and Jen can actually go somewhere together at the same time!)
Jen wanted to make sure it didn't sound like "Adrianne couldn't handle having a newborn and Willy w/o Mike around." What she meant was that she didn't know how anyone could handle it.
Or Adrianne you can stay with us, we have plenty of room now and we'd love to have you.

Amy and I will be in Seattle in the end of September for her brother's wedding (probably on the same day as ours!). Will that overlap? That would be fun - Adrianne and I reuniting in Seattle like when I lived up there. We could get some great Thai food at Thai Toms!!
Hey, what about us over here? I could use some company. It gets quite lonely these days while Hans is at work. Okay, so it's kind of expensive and I'm sure the flight over here would be worse with two little ones and no Mike than actually staying home for six weeks.
