We just got back from a fun day at the zoo and lunch and taking Grandma and Grandpa Richards and Laura to the airport. We are all very sad. Mike already misses his family...I wish he could see them more often. Will loved playing with Grandma and Grandpa and he also liked Laura. I am sad knowing we won't see any more family for awhile. Oh well. It was a nice visit. I really love Carol and Steve and I wish everyone had in-laws as great as mine are.

No, not everyone has in-laws as great as yours, but my kids that are married do. It seems to be a principle that the really cool mates like my kids have married come from great parents. Even Hans, who only has one that he knows closely as family has a wonderful mother, as most of you all found out last winter. I am so lucky to have counter-parts that I love just like my kid's spouses.
