Father's Day in OK

I hope everyone had as good a Father's day as we had here in OK. Mike got some woodworking DVD's and a card signed by Will. Mike wanted to make some Indian food (dot, not feather) so we looked some recipes up online and made some labor intesive, but good food. Pictures of our Indian food experience follow.

It looks like Mike made the beginning of a Navajo taco. Did you ever have those on campus in the Cougareat? Yummylicious.

No, but you got the wrong kind of Indian. It is the dot indian not the feather indian. It had like ten different spices and chicken and onions and then we make flat bread. They tasted like sopapillas only a little more sour because we used yogart instead of water to make them soft. It was interesting. Neither of us thought "wow, we want this food all the time." But we did think it was good. It was fun to try.

My brother and sister-in-law (Bridget and Sundip) make some killer Indian food! You'd better let them know just how hot you want it though. I'd never been that big on garbanzo beans til I had them in an Indian soup of some sort. It's good stuff for the most part. An aquired taste though.

garbanzo beans dont even taste like anything. we had them in a taco salad at girls camp and they just tasted like eating a tortilla. it was weird.
